VA Compensation Calculator — Update 1.26.8
Version 1.26.8 of the VA Compensation Calculator is rolling out on the App Store. This one is a focused bug-fix and accuracy update — no new screens to learn.
What changed:
- Improved accuracy of combined ratings and monthly compensation. Several calculation edge cases now line up exactly with 38 CFR — including the bilateral factor and dependents who are children 18–23 in school. A small number of estimates will shift slightly as a result.
- Claim Tracker events are now saved reliably. Events you added stay put across app restarts.
- Updated 38 CFR Diagnostic Codes to the latest VA schedule. Digestive-system criteria, cranial nerve codes, and the rating bands now match the current regulation.
- Various bug fixes and improvements.
Free, ad-free, private. Same as it’s always been.
Nothing in this release changes how your data is handled. Everything is still stored locally on your device with complete file protection — no analytics, no accounts. The Tip Jar is optional and unlocks nothing.
