This page highlights tools and applications I’ve built to address real-world problems through a cybersecurity lens, with an emphasis on practical use, experimentation, and community value.

The VA Disability Calculator (iOS) started as a personal utility for tracking VA disability compensation with all data stored locally. It was later refined and released publicly to support the veteran community and to evaluate the effectiveness of AI-assisted development workflows in building a secure, offline-first iOS application.

Source code will be released after all planned features are baked-in the product.

🗣️ Human-Centered Cybersecurity

Status: Ongoing

I create short, informal cybersecurity explainer videos and host small Security Office Hours for family and friends, covering topics like phishing, AI use and misuse, scams, and online privacy. These are paired with live AMA-style discussions over FaceTime or Zoom, where real questions and scenarios drive the conversation.

The goal is to practice translating real-world security risks into actionable guidance for non-technical users, and to identify where explanations break down under live questioning. This work is intentionally private and not published publicly.

Additional projects will be added here as they mature.
