VA Compensation Calculator iOS App Released!
I’ve released my first iOS application: VA Compensation Calculator, a privacy-focused tool designed to help veterans calculate VA disability ratings and estimate monthly compensation.
This app began as a personal tool during my own VA compensation journey. Many existing online calculators either don’t allow users to save their information or require re-entering data for every session. Others suffer from outdated or overly complex user interfaces. I wanted a tool that stored data locally, was easy to navigate, and worked entirely on-device.
After sharing the app with a few fellow veterans, the feedback was consistent: the layout was intuitive, the experience was straightforward, and it was something they wished had existed during their own VA process. That feedback motivated me to refine the app and release it publicly for the broader veteran community.
This initial release includes a full VA compensation calculator that covers common VA rating rules and compensation categories. It implements everything I personally needed at the time. Future updates will be driven by veteran feedback, real-world use cases, and additional scenarios as they arise.
